On a recent trip back to York, Pa to shoot a wedding, I got to meet up w/ an old friend from high school and shoot some pics for her. What a cold morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had fun none the less. Cold logs, freezing wind, and mossy rocks did not slow this girl down :) She was a trooper! I miss you sweet Angie...come see me soon!

I am available to make Coffee Table Books / Memory Books out of your OWN photos! Sure I am still available for photo sessions and then a book featuring those photos, but if you would rather assemble your own photos in a keepsake book, then I am here to help you out!

I LOVE these books! I make them for my own friends and family! I know everyone is very busy and you just don't get the time to do as much scrap booking or photo album making as you would like to. I can help take that stress off of you!

How does your garden grow?

Apparently, my brown thumb is becoming a nice shade of green. :) I kill plants. I kill them by too much water, not enough water, and general neglect. I am no gardener, but this year, I set my mind to it and I decided I was going to make a garden grow if it was the last thing I did! After a month of garden TLC, I think it is coming along just fine. My tomato plant has seen better days,still trying to perfect the care of that guy!
I started all these, but the herbs, out as seedlings, transplanted them once so far, and now they are ready to be transplanted into the raised beds which still need built. Getting there !!! :) If all goes well, we will have a massive amount of cantaloupes, watermelons, some cucumbers, some squash, 'maters, beans, peas, leafy lettuce, basil, parsley, tarragon, and , OH, one potato is taking root. The others rotted. Oh well, this is the first time ANYTHING has grown for me so I am thankful for this bounty that is in the beginning stage. Fingers crossed everyone I can keep them all alive till I put them in the beds. :/

I used to write when I was younger, teenage years, which are ancient history to me now. I enjoyed writing. It freed me from having to talk. Now, with my busy life consumed by children, work, marriage, relationships, finding time to take a shower let alone sit and write is a joke. A big laughable joke. So, now I resort to finding quotes. Yes. Lame, but time efficient.
I have been struggling with some inner demons, judgements, and labels lately and feel that through MY WORK , MY ART, whichever form it takes, I am confident to express who I am and what God made me...in His image. Gifts are given to us, by God, and He rejoices when He sees us use these gifts. Look it up. It says that.
So, I will leave you now...because I have to do dishes, or wipe a bottom, or clean up a spill, or fold the mountain of laundry in my room...pick one. I am sure it needs done. Till we meet again or when I remember, crud, I need to update my blog, carry on...

Nature + Pregnacy = the most freeing maternity shoot of my life!

I met Adrienne when I gave birth to my second daughter...she was the visiting nurse to The Baby Love Birth Center where we had an amazing water birth. She came to check on us after the birth. I was so excited when dear Adrienne gave me a call in her 37th almost 38th week wanting to do a maternity session with her and her daughter. (I had no idea she was expecting!) I said OH YES I would love to! She asked if I had any place where we could go so that she could be nude...I said well, we just so happened to move to a very private area and would be honored if she would be my first shoot to break in the new place. What a fun shoot it was too...nothing like walking my new property w/ a gorgeous glowing naked pregnant woman...NO she is a GODDESS! See for yourself....
Oh and her lil one was born in water last weekend, cute as a button! Look for some newborn shots to come as soon as I can get my hands on her :)

I have been having an overwhelming interest in CD disc release of images only vs. print packages. To meet this demand and to take some of the printing pressure off of me and my busy busy life, I have come to my senses and am changing my packages to accommodate the CD. I am still able to do print packages as well for those that do not want the task of printing yourself. I also will recommend to you where to get them printed at a high quality yet very affordable price.

I remember seeing a TTV shot on Etsy when I first joined almost 2 years ago. I fell in love in how it made me feel not just how it looked. It was as tho time just stood still...like I was seeing a photo taken of my mom when she was a child , not a magnificent photo of a modern day Ferris wheel with a gorgeous yellow desaturated glow that made my heart skip a beat!! I was completely in awe and I knew I had to learn " how did they do that?"
It took me over a year to get my first camera , a Kodak Duaflex IV, and now, I can hardly go anywhere w/out it. I built a sweet lil contraption for it and now, it is my lil sidekick!
